基督教研究證書(Certificate in Christian Studies)

Course Description

This is a new program designed for those students who have finished at least one of CBO, CTO and CMO programs, to further study in and practice what it means to be a Christian in the twenty-first century today, for understanding of the various subjects and topics through the spectrum of the Christian studies, to be equipped in personal growth as well as Christian living for the community.

 

Calendar for the CCS Program

Note: There will be two separate classes.

 

Class A:  Sunday afternoon 3:30pm – 6:00pm

30 weekly 2.5 hour classroom meetings and group activities

Fall Term:  10 meetings, 8 October 2023 – 17 December 2023 (No class – 12 November 2023)

Winter Term: 10 meetings, 7 January 2024 – 17 March 2024 (No class – 11 February 2024)

Spring Term: 10 meetings, 7 April 2024 – 16 June 2024 (No class – 12 May 2024)

 

Class B:  Monday evening  9:00pm – 11:30pm

30 weekly 2.5 hour classroom meetings and group activities

Fall Term:  10 meetings, 9 October 2023 – 18 December 2023

Winter Term: 10 meetings, 8 January 2024 – 18 March 2024

Spring Term: 10 meetings, 8 April 2024 – 24 June 2024

Christianity and Church History – How did it all begin and continue to the present?
Introduction to Christian Spirituality – What does it mean to have a relationship with God?
Spiritual Formation – How do we grow as a Christian?

 

Winter Term

Applied Theology – How may the Christian put Christian theology to work in real life?
Christian Apologetics – What is true and what is false Christianity?
Christian Ethics – How does the Christian belief and faith respond to controversial issues today?

 

Spring Term

Christian Ecclesiology – What is the Christian church all about?
Christian Leadership – What is Christian servant-leadership in incarnational ministry?
Discipleship and Mission  – What are the many facets of the Great Commission of Christ?

Application Procedure

        (a).Application fee of MOP200 (non-refundable)
        (b).Two photographs of the applicant (1½ inch size)
        (c).One copy each of applicant’s identification card and education transcripts
        (d).Essay – Applicant’s personal testimony of Christian conversion (500 words)
        (e).Essay – Applicant’s reason of application (250 words)
